"(27 January 2015) Ninateka, the service created by the National Audio-Visiual Institute o Poland, has introduced an application on the Netia Player. The application offers access to all the content at www.ninateka.pl to Netia TV subscribers. The content is divided into seven categories: film, theatre, music, art, literature, journalism, media and technology. The main screen of the application offers also a 'Topic of the Week' and a list of content recommended by the editors. Users can also benefit from a dynamic search function in the application. Access to majority of the content is free."

Opérateur de téléphonie fixe polonais Netia est introduit GigaNagrywarka
(GigaRecorder). Du 16 Avril 2015, les clients de la télévision personnelle pourront enregistrer des émissions de 148 canaux simultanément et d'obtenir un espace disque illimité. Les clients qui activent GigaNagrywarka ont la possibilité d'un enregistrement retard de deux heures, ce qui leur permet de revenir à un programme sélectionné montré il ya deux heures.
Le service permet aux téléspectateurs d'enregistrer plusieurs canaux simultanément, avec un paquet de télévision pertinents. L'accès au contenu enregistré est possible à partir de ne importe quel décodeur enregistré par le client, ce qui signifie que le service multipièce, les programmes enregistrés peuvent être visualisées à partir de ne importe quel décodeur. En outre, le service permet l'enregistrement cyclique des épisodes de la série sélectionnée. Les programmes enregistrés sont stockés jusqu'à 180 jours à compter de l'enregistrement.
Netia a également introduit un ==> prom otion pour GigaOferta (GigaOffer).

Netia telco to launch MVNO

"Telco Netia, in cooperation with mobile operator P4, will launch a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) on April 16, initially addressing the service solely to retail clients, PAP Polish news agency reported.
"The mobile service will only be sold in bundle with other Netia services, in the SIM-only option i.e. without phones for now," director of offer development Rafal Sakowski said. "The price will depend on the services acquired."
Netia and P4 signed a strategic partnership agreement in early February 2015. The firm said at the time that mobile service for business clients would be launched in H2 and services for retail clients in Q2 2015."

Netia offers its customers TV services branded as ‘Telewizja Osobista’ (Personal Television). The offering includes a proprietary set-top box ==> the ‘Netia Player’, which provides access to paid digital TV content provided over IP based protocols in multicast and unicast, quick and easy access to popular internet services or personal multimedia over the TV screen as well as video-on-demand (VOD) content libraries such as Ipla, Kinoplex, TVN Player and HBO GO.

In mid-April 2015 Netia introduced a new personal video recorder (PVR) service ‘GigaNagrywarka’, which gives freedom in watching the chosen TV programs. The services allows to rewind a chosen TV program by 2 hours and to record many programs simultaneously, without limitations created by the capacity of a hard disc on a standard recorder. Moreover, recording is possible from many decoding devices in a client’s position (an important function when using a ‘Multiroom’ service) and can be programmed in cycles (e.g., to watch TV series)...."
